Gonna sit here for an hour, then take 30 minutes to finish, then wait another freaking hour.

That's not a sure thing, especially with the way the weather has played havoc here for four days.

Exactly. They have to wait for this to finish. Then they have to finish the game. Then Rice gets ANOTHER hour to get ready.

So you're looking at 2 hours of delays/pregame sandwiched in between an inning and a half of a 13-0 game.

If SLU would just get on the damn bus and go home, you could just start the clock for the next game prep as soon as the rain stops.

Name one team in the history of baseball to overcome a 13-run deficit with 5 outs left to go.

Why. Let them play in the heat and throw as much as they have to. I'll take any advantage.

Even if the coaches agreed, the ncaa wouldn't allow it?

Would you want a forfeit on your teams record?

I imagine Mainieri would be the one most against it.

Yeah, I guess putting yourself in the SLU players shoes, it would be pretty disheartening.

I'm on Nicholson and no joke I can see where the rain begins and ends.

Here's to a dry evening

Maybe you imbeciles shouldn't have come on tRant all weekend lambasting LSU and talking about how they were a better team and we were over rated and a shite team. SELU gets what's been coming when y'all couldn't shut your traps.

Get thicker skin. It's a name. I don't curse out people call LSU silly names.

Was is Southern that called it a night against LSU several years ago? Skip Bertman era maybe?

I can't remember the team, but I do remember LSU whooping up on them pretty bad. Sometime around the 7th inning or so their coach came out of the dugout and motioned over to our coach, they conversed on the field for a moment, and everyone went back to their respective dugouts. Shortly thereafter the announcer came over the loudspeaker and said that the game was ending.
