Can someone explain Jones' rotations to me?

Playing well evidently earns you a seat on the bench. You play 5 minutes, then never see the court again. I don't get it.

What's CJJ to do when TQ shits the bed, you sub in Gray who shits the bed, you re-insert TQ after his sitting and he shits the bed, you re-insert Gray after his sitting and he shits the bed. And Craig Victor becomes your best FT shooter.
