without a substantial improvement from our O-Line. It's got to be tough to call plays when you have to gameplan for T-Bob laying in the backfield.

They'll get better. Can't get worse.

I don't think T-Bob was the only offensive problem.

Yeah, because the new OC will bring in a new o-line coach who will give Hurst, Blackwell, and Lonergan a legitimate shot at starting.

T-Bob was probably better than Hitt and Dworyczak

most of the time the offencive line had problems was when we telegraphed our plays to the other team. I can remember teams double teaming some def players or even ( but dont tell the coaches) moving the pocket to one side. Our young players havent been developed at all and are learning on thier own

South bama tiger you are a mooooooron. The oc has nothing to do with the o line or who the o line coach is.

I was being semi-sarcastic.

But in all seriousness, do you not think that the majority if not all of the offensive coaching staff will be no longer be coaching at LSU next year? I'm confident that Crowton is gone, and I know that DJ and Porter are history. That only leaves Stud, whose unit has also underperformed.

Common "sence": who is the moron???

Are you under the impression that the OC doesn't have anything to do with the blocking schemes that are used, the techniques that are taught by other offensive coaches, or the design of play sequences that move the QB around so that the defense can't simply pin their ears back and rush the same lanes the entire game.

Why don't you sniff the crap you are shoveling?

Yes

1) Stop running up the middle
2) Roll the QB out more
3) More of a spread shotgun look with quick passes

We severely under-use all of those plays and they could help alleviate the OLine problems.

Also our OLine has not been 108th in the nation bad.

LSU's offensive line is substantially better than Utah's, they had no problem with Bama last year. Its the schemes you use, with the talent you have. Our 4* recruits are weak and in poor condition. Figure out a scheme that works and stay with it. Pro style set isn't going to work.

I don't care if you played pro ball. If you think he OC isn't involved in designing the blocking schemes (in addition to the other things I mentioned), then you are clueless George.

Where am I coming up with it? Try third and goal against florida, twice in short yardage against UGA and the entire Ole Miss game. Ole Miss worse the worse.
