I don't see the return for the 1.3M this guy makes. He needs to produce or hit the bricks. Miles needs coaches not friends at this point.

Exactly get his arse out that damn booth and get on the field. How much of the field you got to see to call a damn toss dive?

I think there were some things he could've done to make AJ more effective. IE running him more, getting him some quick WR screens like ND and some of our other opponents did, and not waiting until game 13 to throw to the TE.

doesn't help when your QB sucks.

Your job is to develop a qb. He's had 2 years to work with AJ. I've seen almost no improvement.

Exactly, he is paid like the best offensive coordinator. It is time to coach like it.
There is probably a reason the Ravens deep sixed him and went on to win the Super Bowl.

Lol, did you say the same thing about all the other offensive coordinators who have coached under Les. The shite we are seeing isn't anything new. Les is the problem.

Totally. That's why you see Les with the play sheet calling the plays. Offense is the exact same as it was under crowton

Oh wait none of that is true

Well, as much shite as I give Miles, Cam can't get a pass for the fact that apparently, in the last 4 years, the BEST QB we've managed to recruit is an absolute shite show.

Les went full retard after the 2008 pick 6 Lee year. It may be different plays but it's still ultra conservative playing not to lose crap

I think plenty of coaches would have gotten a lot more production out of AJ.

I will say this.

It's sort of football 101 that if you are scared shitless of your QB throwing the ball then the last thing you want is for him to ONLY be throwing on 3rd and long.

Most coaches stuck with a shaky QB tend to find some high percentage passes they can throw on 1st down to steal 3-5 yards. Basically, glorified running plays(hint, ND started off with that against us!!!). This helps keep the defense from putting 8-9 in the box. It ain't perfect but you wont get perfect with AJ at QB.

If the ONLY time you throw with a shaky QB is when the whole world knows he has to throw, that ain't going to make him LESS shaky. Also, by doing that, you effectively make every throw high pressure. It's like the difference between being at the plate in baseball with no outs and no strikes vs being at the plate with two outs, two on and the count is 1 ball two strikes. We basically have our QBs in the latter situation a LOT!

They are 18-22! Pressure doesn't HELP a shaky QB!

So first Crowton was the problem, them Stud was the problem and now it's Cameron. Since 2008 our offense has been consistently horrible. Last year with all that talent we finished 7th in offense in our conference. In 2011 we passed fro 152 yards a games going undefeated. Our Head Coach has been around a long time and spent exactly 3 years running an offense at OK St from 95-97. Through three coordinators our offense has looked eerily similar with an outdated game plan and horrific quarterback play sans Mett. I wonder which offensive mind has been the constant during this 7 year run? Maybe, just maybe the guy who has been in charge is the real problem. But for the Miles crowd it's easy to blame the OC. Soon you'll have another one to blame when we once again finish 13th in passing in the conference like usual.
