One of the TCU Co-OCs. Both of them turned down offers to other Texas schools, but would they turn down LSU?
Really wish we had gone after Tony Petersen though. Coached LA Tech the last 3 years and made terrible and nobody QBs, look successful. Also coached Pennington and Leftwich at Marshall and has been successful with QBs and offenses everywhere he was at. Guy was only getting at 250k salary and was familiar with the Louisiana recruiting grounds at least as much as Cam was.

Charlie wouldn't have released the info without confirming with multiple well placed sources. Either he let the word slip before he was supposed to, or multiple sources were given wrong information to find the leak(s) in the AD.
At this point, I'm guessing the latter. This is still stemming from the jimbo debacle.

That's the thing though , while talking recruiting Charlie says well I guess we better address all the rumors ..
Then he says that there are rumors going around that cam will be let go but nothing is confirmed . Jimmy then asked Charlie if he thought it was true and if cam would be gone and Charlie says imo I believe it is true cam won't be back but that is my opinion and nothing has been confirmed ....,
