I was just thinking this week how Booty might have turned out had Cameron been his OC. He had a good year after Saban came in but obviously not at the same level Mett's playing at. It makes you wonder.

I have the flu and started thinking about LSU football. Sorry. I didn't mean to open old wounds.

I see this is not working out well for you. Please consider the rest of the human race before doing so again. Continue with your day.

The reason I make the comparison to Boot and not Maulk, Davey, Tyler, Hatch, is that Booty seemed to have similar tools as Mett but squandered his talent like no other LSU QB I can remember. Was it his attitude, work ethic or just not getting elite coaching? I don't even remember who the OC was in Dinardo's last year.

Two Tigers I don't care to hear about again: Josh Booty and Jordan Jefferson.

Booty's last game was in 2000. He is an afterthought in LSU football.

Dude seemed self centered and I doubt that any coaching would have changed his leadership abilities or his contributions to the program.

Saban's first two years were marked with terrible defenses.

Just imagine how good Bert Jones or YA Tittle would have been. Mind blowing.

Could he have helped Jaime Howard is the real question though.
