Both the offense and defense will have a few bugs to work out in their first game of the season. BYU, by the way, will be playing its second game of the season against us. The rust factor could make things interesting for the first three quarters.

And remember, our offensive line is built for run blocking, so I would expect some growing pains in the first quarter of the season. Fortunately, I assume, our talent should carry us through unscathed.

i agree. I believe our defense will be solid and maybe give up a TD from the growing pains. i think our offense will have a growing pain game but be able to out athlete them. im gonna guess 21-13 or 24-10

Personally I don't think BYU will make it out of their own regional.

Lol why does BYU have to make it out of a regional to play LSU, in football, at the beginning of the season?

I think their QB will be one of the top guys we face all year. The question for him though will be if his receivers find open areas in our secondary.

My premature guess is LSU wins 27-13
