Anybody talk about what a great sign it is that we got the ball and never turned it back. Had we been able to do this in the Bama game and Clemson we would have won. There was a third and long that we converted on a pass that was key.
I am excited about this offense!

3min 55sec left in game, 3rd and 5; Mett hits ODB down the left sideline on back shoulder for a 20yd gain.

Trite, but that was the final nail in TCU's coffin, a nail we missed hammering a couple of times last year.

Best play of the game.

No other college QB in the country makes that throw. Great catch too. Shows the chemistry Mett has with OBJ and Jarvis too.

Good OP. That last drive hasn't gotten enough praise.

Much improved ability to control the ball and clock in crucial situations. Better play calling but also much better execution by Mett.

Still not as imaginative as I would like when we are in run/fun out the click situations. Had a lot of power plays even when they had 9 in the box. Shades of the past few years!

Overall grade IMO; A-

Magee ran with great effort too, very similar to how Ware finished his runs.

That was an advanced play. You see that throw and catch all of the time in the NFL...almost never in college football.

This offense is going to be very good. It was good last night, and I think it is only going to get better as time goes on.

Best post so far hondurantiger!

Couldn't agree more. Mett looks confident and he did well closing the game last night.

You can tell they have been well coached. Every one was on the same page.

May have been the most impressive drive of the night.
