the sad part is even Pearl could see that our team was the problem. Jones couldn't get the other kids to buy in.

The other guy basically said Simmons teammates basically played like they were jealous of Simmons. Pretty good segment. Pearl especially lowered the boom on us.

It took less than a day for the negative recruiting over this failed season to start. A low team like auburn is throwing rocks at our recruiting now on a national show.

I agree considering auburn is a dumpster fire but its bad when we have them piling on the negative recruiting against us.

I'd still Pearl to be our next coach. Yes, I recognize he hasn't set the world on fire at Auburn, but he can recruit, his kids play hard and he has the kind of enthusiasm our fanbase needs.
He may seem like a bit of a retread, but let's be realistic about who we can get as our next head coach. It's likely going to be slim pickens on the coaching market.

It is fine. I have made this point in several other places...just endure this for one more day or so because it is a hot topic, then we will be forgotten about and people will talk about other stuff. That is why I am glad we didn't play an NIT game...because it would have all picked back up again. This way, by tomorrow, this is all an afterthought and we can move on with our lives.

the negative recruiting isn't going to go away. The damage has been done, a fricking loser at auburn just bent jones over for five minutes. He can't control a team and high quality players shouldn't go to jones is what he basically said.

No they should go to a place where the coach can get the most out of them. Pearl just said jones can't do that.
