#LSU coach Johnny Jones says F Brian Bridgewater is having a knee procedure today and will be out about a month

Jalyn Patterson out for tomorrow's game too.

Jones: "We'll have more information on Jalyn (Patterson) on Dec. 26" after #LSU returns from three-day Christmas break.

ETA: gonna need Epps to continue to improve as Bridge recovers.

Can we take this opportunity to graft about 3-4 inches onto his legs? Guy would be unstoppable.

Thank goodness Victor came in when he did.
Yea, Bridgewater with 2-3 more inches on him (height for you perverts lurking) would be scary...

Hate to hear that. He definitely hasn't been the most consistent player but he's shown some real signs of improvement. Hopefully this won't set him back that much.

Hahaha guy would be unreal if he were 6'8. But if he were 6'8 he'd probably already be in the league

Feel bad for bridge. He is a pretty good bench player IMO, especially when we play smaller teams.

Big Baby was projected as a top 2/3 OT his senior year, but he chose basketball and made a good living.

Brian was projected as a good FB player as well, but at 6'5" not as high in FB or BB. I like his effort, but I've always thought he should have played FB.

What's his wingspan and standing reach, that's really the telling measurable? You don't rebound, block shots or jump hook ball off the top of your head.

But, he also lacks hops...that don't help him.

Bridge has had his moments, but not enough to worry me that this is a significant setback. However, I'd rather have him available than not.

I went to high school with him and he played FB for us. We agree. The guy could've been an LSU tight end
