All big surprises and all good things.

Seriously, I really do think this will be a good thing. I think Ed will pump life into this program and recruiting will go to the next level. I believe him when he said he will let his coaches coach. I am nervous about losing Aranda.....a lot.....but we would be able to get a first class coordinator for the money we are willing to spend. Same for offense. It is clear by his presser that change is coming offensively. It sounds like he will have a huge financial commitment from the university to hire Kiffin, Sark, or another top offensive mind. QB development will be even more important than play calling.

I think CEO will be able to keep the current recruiting class together and probably bring in some studs we wouldn't have gotten. Whatever you think about the guy, kids badly want to play for this guy.

To the haters, I understand some of the concern but the sky is not falling. Tom Herman is not a sure thing by any estimation. He is a hot commodity now, but we have seen most like him flame out at a big job. He may be the next big thing, but it certainly is far from guaranteed.

All that being said, chill the frick out Tigers. The sky is not falling.

Sorry for my ramble, but I am sincerely optimistic.

:Off soapbox:
