SS or 3rd. He'll definitely get called up.

I think he'll definitely get called up too. The trend now is bringing the top picks up sooner rather than later.

But the Astros have two of the best in their position in baseball at SS and second, so yeah I'm thinking 3rd if they want to get him in the lineup.

I would think they'd move Correa to 3rd and Bregs to SS.

Left field if he stays with Houston.

The Stros better deal him while he's hot. Get the most value out of him

That isn't happening for a couple years. Alex won't be an Astro by the time that move happens

They'll call him up if he keeps this up. Good problem to have for them.
I think they'll experiment to find the best combo to get all 3 on the field. Could be one of the best infields in recent memory and young to boot

Nope. Not with the cats they have in front of him. LF is likely his best bet to get called up.

You think Correa is on board with that?

I'm a stros fan secretly lobbying Lunhow and the Front Office to move him to catcher... basically pull a reverse Biggio. I know it would never happen, but it would be perfect if we could get him to be our Buster Posey, as catcher is by far our biggest problem/need in the organization right now. He used to be one in HS and would have the demeanor to be great with pitchers.

Bregs isn't playing SS or 3rd for the Astros this year. Best chance is left field or finding the field via a trade. Correa isn't moving this year. Colin Moran is good and he's in line to get called up soon. I don't see where Bregman fits in this year unless spots open up via trades.

Now if he keeps tearing the cover off the ball, they may make room for him?

Trade. Probably 80-90% chance he is traded soon.

Just about every scouting article on Bregman says the Astros would probably move him to 3rd because of his defensive skills and Correa is comfortable at SS.

I haven't discussed this with him but I'm 99% sure he'll never play 3rd. If he gets called up this year, I think they would try him in left. In 3 or 4 years I could easily see Correa at third and Alex at short IF he's still an Astro. I could be wrong though.
