Brantley Broken Ankle

From a UF season ticket holder that knows some staffers...it isn't good for Brantley. Definitely out vs. us, probably rest of season. Their true freshman will start.

I'll wait for official confirmation, but I can't say I would be surprised with this. He looked like he was in a lot of pain.

Sucks for the guy. I feel bad for him. Season ending injuries should never be wished upon anyone

its a high ankle sprain according to Joe Schad. Wont play vs LSU

I've heard ankel injuries were pretty serious.

Hell yeah. I'm sure as he'll glad he isn't playing. Makes this game a lot more manageable.

Even with Brantley UF is one dimensional. You can't be one dimensional and beat LSU this year. It just won't happen. Teams like Nama, Wisconsin and even South Carolina (if they play to their potential) pose threats for LSU.

Weiss masked their inability to run the ball for a few weeks against inferior talent, but even with brantley, I was very confident.

I don't know but I truly hate to see season ending injuries in any player.

I've seen breaks right above the ankle happen before and the way his ankle twisted I thought it may be this but I hope it is not that serious. Tough way to end a season if it is.
