Does anyone know if our coaches informed #15 while he was celebrating that his great catch cost us 20 yards of field position right before halftime? Our last first half drive may have been different if we started on our 38 instead of 18.Does anyone know if our coaches told our punter to take a safety under those circumstances instead of giving the other team the ball on our 1 yardline?

Here is tip. Next time you think you want to start a thread. Do a search.

Chances are there have already been twelve other dumbfricks just like you who started the same thread.

i was thinking the same thing right after it happened - but when i watched the replay it was clear it was a reaction thing to catch the football. there was a tip and the ball was there.
By instinct he had to grab the football. Besides, again, on the replay, it was a close thing that his knee touched.

ONe of those weird things when a great defensive play gets messed up by a great defensive play.

Were you even watching the circumstances with which that int was made? It was tipped and obviously split split split second. He made the best decision to ensure LSU took over.

You are acting stupidly.

This comes back to coaching. During the week it is KNOWN to bat the pass down on 4th & long. Before the play starts the coaches are required to remind all DBs to bat the ball down. Poorly coached when compared to expected LSU standards. The coaches were even cheering and slapping him on the head. Piss poor.

I agree. I pointed out how stupid of a play it was when it occurred.

He made the right play for the above mentioned reasons. Were the coaches supposed to chew his arse after he made his 1st career INT?? Jesus Christ some people here are just dumb!!

Nick Saban & Will Muschamp would have chewed his arse for costing LSU 30yds negative field position. Every play is a chance to coach UP a player, not encourage bad habits.

20 yards, not 30!

If you look at the replay the ball was tipped and Taylor had the ball go right into his arms damn near, it was just instinct.

Why don't you become a UT or Bama fan if you are still on Saban or Muschamp's nuts so much!

Is this really necessary, You would have caught it too.... Just stop and think for a second, Did he really know where the QB was really trying to throwing the ball, what if there were a receiver right behind him and he had let it go..Then I guess we would be talking about why didn't he try to catch it...

UT & Bama = two teams playing better D with equal or less talent than LSU.

No I'm sure you're the only one that thought of that! None of them have been coaching most of their adult lives like you right? Maybe you should call them and tell them so that they will know how smart you are. Maybe they will offer you a coaching position. Any other coaching wisdom that you have thought of that you think they don't know and are currently coaching the kids to do? Or is that all you got? You think they tell them not to fumble the ball also!

Just like the players do things in a split second in the heat of the battle without thinking even though they know better, some of you people write some stupid things without thinking.
