Brandon Sampson,it's time for him to stud-up, and get rough and confident.It's still just basketball,nothing to get overwhelmed about, while playing. He could salvage some of this season. JJ has been letting him play some, it's now time to get some dividends.

I worry that Blakeney and Sampson are going to take Hornsby's absence as an excuse to hoist up 20 3-pointers.

Can't be any less horrible than what Hornsby did this year. He was the worst defender out of the starters and took poor shots. We will be ok without him.

He played great at the beginning of the season, then became one of JJ's bench casualties. You play well? You sit in favor of more "talented" players.

Wow, obviously you don't watch LSU basketball or have any basketball knowledge...if you are taking "poor shots" and managing to convert 49% of them (predominantly jump shots btw) then that is fantastic and I am perfectly fine with that...smh

If we take 20-30 thress and hit 35-40 percent we are good. Chances are you miss a three 50/50 who gets rebounds based on how they come off rim

I haven't really seen sampson do anything right at all this season lol. Hopefully he takes over tones spot in the lineup and is the spot up shooter because I know he can make a three then tone takes over keith as the volume shooter.

I agree he played no defense but his mid range jumpshot was money.

Sampson hasn't looked good at all recently. He'll be a good player in time, but he's a liability right now.
