Brandon Harris Interview on Tim Fletcher show today. LINK UPDATED

Love to hear how inside the team is so different from media, boards etc. Sky is not falling.

Harris said with receiving corp now and incoming guys height and ability he's "like kid in candy store"
Said Coach Miles does great job recruiting players that can play as Freshmen. Not just their ability but the coaches trust in them enough to play them.
He rooms with LF and said it's hard to believe but he improved as much if not most of anybody on team especially pass catching and taking it to house. Said LF is humble and he has never heard him talk about Heisman even though one of the favorites.
Fletch asked where Brandon has improved most from last fall to now. Harris said learning the playbook ins and outs understanding offensively why they do different things in differnt situations. He said his second year in system now he knows more of what he is supposed to know. Emphasized LSU in "Coach Cam's system" runs pro style offense where it's QB's responsibility to know everything to put them in best position to win, not looking to sideline for coaches to check the plays.
Fletch asked him what goes through his mind when he hears all the analysis of LSU's upcoming season says "they have gotta solve the situation at quarterback". Harris said our coach has won a NC and knows what LSU has on roster and he will make best decision to help LSU win.
Fletch goes on to talk with him some about his personal life at LSU and other things.
Fletch asked him if he has seen DBU video. He has and said LSU is DBU.

Arkansas fan who loves to bash Les Miles and Cam when Brandon is not around. And yes he is the guy who interviewed David Feaster. Basically a Guilbeau who try's really hard to be cool, his radio show is horrible it's him his kid his wife and a soundboard operator who they just make fun of the entire show.

Don't want to start an argument about Tim Fletcher. However, he is a quality human. Has done more for highschool sports in North La, East Tx than you can imagine. Radio sports talk in Shreveport/Bossier wouldn't exist without his tireless efforts and I for one am thankful. No doubt he is a razorback though and through but that doesn't make him a bad person, just a misguided soul. I promise you there isn't a bigger Brandon Harris or T White, J Rasco, J Hester etc etc fan than Fletcher. He follows the local guys forever and cheers no matter where they play.

He doesn't have the best interest of LSU at heart, so I could care less for him. Same could be said for some other local guys. Good guys, but in the wrong area and support the wrong teams at heart. Don't belong on local radio. Period. Sorry, it is what it is. We have an Auburn guy locally, great guy, but everyone is tired of his constant banter about his home state, annoying.

Fletcher is just a dude trying to get more listeners....doing his job. He'll say whatever it takes to get more viewers/readers/listeners ala Guilbeau or Finebaum.
Its annoying at times but you have to look at journalists in the right light, journalists are like whores. If its a good looking whore (good journalist, reporter reporting facts) they just show up and get work, if its an ugly skank (finebaum, guilbeau, fletcher etc) they have to wear very revealing clothes to get work (write click bait articles).
IE he's just another nasty skank.

Not sure what the Fletcher bashing is about; listen to him almost everyday and enjoy his show ......

I think bashing is coming from those away from north La and by those that maybe have only heard a couple controversial interviews. To compare Fletcher to Finebaum lets me know they haven't listened to him on a regular basis.

I live in Shreveport and can't tolerate Fletcher or his show...I don't mind that he is primarily an Arkansas fan, it's that his schtick isn't clever or funny and I don't care to have his family pushed down by throat when I am trying to listen to a sports show.

Fletch is a good guy and is fiercely loyal to the local kids.
I'm guessing you guys don't remember the LSU bashing Notre Dame slobbering Marshall brothers, truly bad local radio.

I couldn't agree more with jondavid11. I wonder if half the people commenting have even listened to his show. He is an Arkansas fan and doesn't hide it but rarely does he give the hogs precedent over the Tigers. He knows his listener base. He busts his tail to cover local high school sports.

With JJ and Bonzai you know what you are getting, they hate LSU but they say it out loud and its what they are known for. Both shows are bad radio but I'd rather Fletcher try the JJ and Bonzai approach than be fony and play both sides. All that being said #TeamHarris.

Fletch is a good guy. I coached a Shreveport high school's golf team and asked Fletch if he would be our guest speaker at the school's athletic banquet. He said "yes" without any hesitation. I asked him if he was sure that he was available on that date and time, and he responded, "I'll make it work, put me down."
