Brandon Harris can only play in the shotgun spread... aka LSUs 2 minute offense

Nah he was just as bad.

2015 Florida.

We needed that Brandon against Arky.

And Ole Miss, even though he did throw for 321 yards, it was way too late.

You have to give him his props for 2015 Florida, and even though it wasn't a complete game, 2014 Mississippi State.

If he had actually won the comeback against Miss State in 2014 that would certainly be it, but we lost so can't count that one.

It would have been a miracle we didn't deserve, but if that last pass to the end zone had somehow come down in the hands of a Tiger, that would have been one of the legendary games in Tiger Stadium history.

I agree that the MSU game looked impressive, but you have to realize a couple things.

One is that MSU got a big lead and essentially stopped playing in the second half. They went very soft on defense and completely conservative on offense. I said at the time that Mullen shut it down way too early and let us back in the game. That softness obviously helped Harris.

Second - since we were so far behind, Harris had no pressure and got the green light to just start slinging, and he did well.

So that game was a unique situation, and although he did well, it gave a false impression of what he could really do as a QB.

When Jennings was getting boo'd out of this world in Tiger Stadium and Harris replaced him and they ended up winning with Harris. (I dont remember the team but I am pretty sure it was a crap team.)

If I remember right, the vast majority of Harris' stats from the Florida game were in the 2nd quarter. He didn't have a great 1st, 3rd or 4th quarter.

This. LSU scored 4 touchdowns in the second quarter. Only other score was the fake field goal in the 4th quarter. Ridiculous.
