By all means I am not a QB guru, but do you think they start off the season sharing reps? I do agree with what he says that sharing reps messes with the flow of a QB. On the other hand if he does not start, do you think he looks to transfer?

No I think he is ready to take full command of this offense and will do the things the coaches want him to do in order to be the starter.

I think this is actually the year Harris takes over mid season and holds on to it. Not last year like most LSU fans were looking. I think the coaches know Harris is better and the starter, but until they are comfortable with him not making stupid decisions, Jennings will start. Jennings is a placeholder. It all depends on Harris

One thing I've learned in my time in football(never played college) is that typically they only name starters in the spring when it's clear. I've seen progression in both, but come on, it's clear BH has really matured past AJ. This QB battle was never going to be decided in the spring. Even if they don't publicly announce a starter until the first game, they know ahead of time. If BH doesn't start, even though he may or may not take over mid-season, I would thoroughly shocked if he didn't transfer, that would give him two years to start somewhere. Probably somewhere in the ACC.

We did the 2 QB system in '11. The 1 QB system is what did us in at the end.

1) Transfers to JUCO

2) After 1 year enrolls at Auburn

3) Throws for 280 yds and 3 TD's, runs 1 TD

4) Lights up cigar and dumps ash on Les as he's crying at midfield

Jamarcus split time with Marcus Randall...which i think is a very similar situation to what we have now.

Yep, and what Jamarcus did at Florida in his first start was somehow worse than what Harris did at Auburn. Thankfully, (somehow? Oh, right, Ron Zook) Randall pulled it out. Also, fear Joe Addai.

I'm curious what specific progressions have you seen from each QB and what specific signs of maturity you are seeing from Harris that you are not seeing from Jennings.

The thought of this scares me not because I don't want Harris to start-I DO, but if Harris takes over the starting role it would mean that Jennings did not play well enough to keep it, and that might cost us a game before the change is made.

Of course if he like all of the rest of the losers around here.
If something doesn't go their way immediately they cut and run. None of that "stick out the rough times" in them. If they don't get what they want they go running home to mommy.
On the other hand if he is tough, then he sticks it out and waits his turn. It's happened before with pretty damn good result for the player and LSU.
