It's not just Joe...
Here is a graph over the last two weeks of approximately 75 different bracketologies. LSU did move up in some, but the majority and average still is a 10 seed.

We have some pretty bad losses. Losing to the bottom 3 teams in the SEC really drags us down.

Not the selection committee. They are big boys. Joe gets the most publicity due to the fact that he is the #1 bracketologist at ESPN "The Worldwide Leader in Sports".
The selection committeee couldn't care less about where Joe Lunardi has teams in his bracketology. But I do agree that right now LSU probably sits at a 10 seed if the season was over. Still time to move up or down though.

Ehh I would rather a 10 seed to 8/9 line. All this will be moot when we beat the pigs and sweep through the SEC tourney. 6-7 seed lock after that.

He has Georgia, ole miss, and A&m as 8/9 seeds and you can't have sec teams play each in the first round. Or the second round and Kentucky is a 1 in the last bracket.

I don't mind being a 10-seed but if there is one 2-seed I want to avoid it is Wisky...
Also, do these brackets just use current records or does it project for what it thinks will play out? Bc if it projects, it could have Ole Miss taking back the 4th seed bc they have the easiest week.

Our RPI is in the mid 40s, not sure why some think we should be like a 7 or 8.

Pretty amazing Okie State is a 9-seed after 4 straight losses and 11 losses total. They have a couple of good wins, but beating Texas twice should hardly count as good wins anymore
