Bowl placement is all about ticket sales

If we end up in Houston, it is because that is the only bowl the SEC Office thinks we will sell a significant portion of tickets to. And our ticket presale indicates NO INTEREST in any bowls by LSU fans.

Indy bowl same distance as Texas bowl. More local fans in Houston as well.

Do schools not understand that people would rather pick their own seat at these lower level bowls, then get in a lottery and take a shitty seat? People get in the lottery for big games, so they can save on tickets. No one needs to request Texas bowl tickets through LSU.

Since Mizzou declined the Indy Bowl, the SEC won't have a team participate in it

yea mizzou stated last week they didn't want to go to a bowl. It looks extremely stupid now since they promoted their dc to head coach and it would give him however many more days of practice

Scuttlebutt was Odom was concerned getting sandblasted yet again in a bowl game would hurt recruiting.

So we really get what we deserve. Our very pitiful fan base is doing it to themselves. This is an awful bowl against a pitiful opponent that could very we'll beat us. The players will have no interest in being there and it will show in ther quality of play.
