Bowl Gifts and Per Diem

The Citrus Bowl will give out the following gift package to all players and student managers (up to 125 people for each school):
Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl: $305 Best Buy shopping trip; Timely Watch Co. watch; EA Sports video game; ISlide sandals; $25 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card
In addition, each player will get $35 per diem pay for each practice (since school is out). This is another $525 in cash payments. Not a bad deal for these guys.

BWW Bowl and the main sponsor only gives them a measly 25 buck gift card to their restaurant?

They have a limit on the amount of money they can give overall. I would think the best buy trip will be more appreciated.

Gift package cannot exceed $525 in value. I am sure the players prefer the larger amount be to Best Buy as opposed to freakin BWW

Pretty cool, but a little weak compared to some bowls. I remember for the Cotton Bowl, players got ipads and macbooks, etc.

$35 a day to eat? I guess these guys will be loading up on the Dollar Menu at McDonalds.
