I know Missouri probably isn't that good but we always seemed to play just good enough against whoever we played.

I really liked Les but it was definitely time and yesterday pretty much proved it.

Missouri scored 61 & 79 points in games earlier this season. They can put up numbers. Nice defense last night.

I'm sure they are a quality win but a team we should've whipped. AND WE DID!!! That was the enjoyable part.

When you generate the most yards vs an SEC opponent in your history, there's something to be said about that. No, they're not Alabama, but it's still something to get happy about, IMO.

ETA: Not to mention the great defensive play.

One of the better offenses in the SEC only put 7 points up on us and it took a trick play to do it.

Dominant.

Even if Mizzou is not great LSU beat them badly like a not great team should be by a much better team.

It was nice to not see a struggle with a mediocre team.

I think it is being overlooked how much better our defense looked yesterday. I don't know how much of it is due to les being gone, or is controlling the ball so much, or the team having more time to learn the new concepts. However, it looked a lot better.

My nephew, son and I were saying as we walked to the car last night after the game that we could not remember the last time that we felt that good about a Tiger victory.

Les had a stranglehold on this offense and our skill players. They have now been let loose! It's invigorating!

slackster, the idiot, started a thread griping about the "same old offense" and asking where are the changes.

Newflash to the idiots: You can't overhaul an offense in 5 days, its unpossible(purposely done for the idiots). It's called tweaking and personnel changes. But more important is HOW you practice. Team looked fast and fresh. There is you major change.

Great to see a blowout for another MAJOR change.

You are correct about this, they are not very good. But you know who else isn't very good....Mississippi St and Auburn. We barely beat one and loss to the other under Miles. What we did last night is impressive regardless of the team we played

I'm thinking Les had a bit of a stranglehold on the defense also. Looked like Aranda unleashed his defense last night

Our secondary was all over their receivers, KB was pushing people around all night, the D-line was breaking through their line almost every play. I wish they hadn't double teamed Arden Key so he could blow some bitches up
