Booger just said on CFL that Leonard doesn't have a chance because we need to become more diversified and take some carries away from Leonard in order to make it to the college football playoff.

Finebaum immediately said that if LSU is in a final four then Leonard is going to New York.

I some what see what Booger was trying to say but his logic is terrible.

LF can have less yards than last year and if LSU makes the final 4 he will be in NY

He may not win, but he will be there this year

and the only thing that will take carries away from LF this year will be the emergence of Guice

Going to New York (Finalist) and winning are two different things. I agree with Booger. It will be Watson or Mcaffrey.

Even with less carries, he's still going to be the center piece of this offense. So playoffs=NY.

It's a loaded field and it's always hard to predict the winner. But no chance? Give me a break.

Sad thing is the Heisman is more of a popularity award and has shite to do with who is the best football player.
98% of the time it goes to a player going to the National Champ Game.

If he literally does exactly what he did last year and has a big game against Bama he runs away with it,

The heisman is given to the best player on the best team these days. If LSU is in the playoff, he gets it IMO.

Who cares? Booger is always negative when it comes to LSU.

Once again, see Alabama. A more diversified offense will cause ypc to go up. And if our offense retains possession longer, carries per game will go up too. Henry had about 75 carries per game last year, but their offense was diverse.

Leonard is going over 2000 yards this season so Booger can suck it

He tries so hard to be unbiased that he comes off as "hating" LSU to some. We all know he hates Miles already, but c'mon Booger.. Show LF7 some love

He wasn't being negative at all. He said Leonard won't win the heisman and it will be a good thing. He said he thinks LSU's offense will be more multiple and Guice will take carries away from Fournette and it will lead to less stats but better for the team.

True, but for him to win I would think LSU has to be in the playoffs. Everyone knows he is the best player, the team has to win for him to get it and IMO
that's bull.
