Let me guess.... We're on the "decline"

Nah, I think we're stable and reloading. Saban will finish with more wins this year and hold the coach title.

How did his pro career pan out compared to the potential and talent this kid had? I mean, before he starts rattling off about someone else doing less, he needs to look in the mirror and ask himself if he did everything he could to further his career. What a waste of talent!!!!

Booger didn't waste his talent. He was injury prone. Early in his career his presence was lauded as a reason Sapp could be so effective.

Booger is a great guy and staunch supporter of LSU. You should just STFU.

If he said that I just lost a little respect for him. That's a pretty a-hole thing to say publicly considering he is a former player. Even if he feels that way, he should have enough respect not to say it on the radio.

With the 8 years Les has had at LSU I believe Saban would have done a better job. That's easy to say with Saban just winning 3 of the last 4 titles. Outside of Saban who could have done better than Miles? Probably not too many coaches. I would like to see what a coaches like Harbaugh and Patterson could have done at a school like LSU for the last 8 years with all it's resources.
-------------------------------------------------
Thats what they said about Petrino, Meyer and Chizik. Harbaugh wouldve left for the NFL just like he already has. Patterson is a good long term coach but the grind and the pressure here is totally different. Not saying he couldnt do it, but Id have to see him do it to believe it. 85-21 and following Saban....? How much would u bet on Patterson doing better than that?
Les has proven it. He will be the coach here for at least 4-5 more years and I wouldnt bet a dime against him lasting longer than that. He has already proven most of u pundits wrong already. When do you guys give up? Anybody else u got?
All these resources u talk about also comes with alot of expectation. Ask Urban "the quitter" Meyer how easy it is to run an elite program in the SEC every year day in day out with all those resources?
And he didnt have to play Alabama every year.

Dinardo is not coming back!
Miles has done pretty damn well in replacing Saban, not sure there are too many other coaches that would have fared any better.

No Saban assistant has come close to replicating Saban and would not have done any better at LSU.
Petrino or Butch Davis would have been disasters at LSU. With Davis, LSU would be on probation right now. With Petrino, all LSU coeds would have been on notice.

No thanks, I'll stick with Miles.

Right on.

every coach makes them, the issue is the moving goalposts and extremely high standards in which rantards hold miles to (standards higher than Saban was held to while he was coach at LSU, fwiw) while overlooking the frequency in which other coaches make them.

McFarland is on sideline regularly.
He paid his dues at LSU.
If he speaks I would listen.

Hearing the audio I think Booger was pretty right on. His love for the Tigers is why he speaking out. You will have folks on both side. If Coach Miles is the Leader we all believe he is then he would take Boogers thoughts and accept them for what they are and build on them. That is what great Leaders do .

Many coaches could have done much worse than Les with this talent. And Les is responsible for the level of talent.

great leaders typically don't hang out listening to guests on talk radio in hopes of learning what they're doing wrong.

Sad part is while college stars like Drew Brees and others help recruit top prospects for their former schools, we have arse wipes like this that try to hurt recruiting by giving us insight that is no more than speculation and hypothetical situations that would never happen in our lifetimes .....

Booger your time has past, you did your best, go back to being a booger.

Really?
I'm no LM hater, but my god some of you people flip the frick anytime anyone say anything that's not 100% PRO Les Miles.

As I said earlier, AMcfarland is a creditable source.
