the mainstream media was leading the charge to fire coach miles..you had some against it and some for it...it was literally talked about by espn for 2 weeks straight..lsu fans of any sport overreact to the smallest thing..let coach jones do his job and stop bashing the man...it is the players fault just as much as it is coach jones. if tim quarterman actually decided to play well this year we would not even be having this conversation. lsu is in a good spot to finish second in the entire sec and we were predicted to finish fourth. stop overracting to everything

To be fair, the media was talking about that because of all the success Miles has had. He won one National Championship and went undefeated and went to another National Championship game.

JJ has done neither of that even with the #1 player. I understand he (Simmons) can't do everything, which brings it to coaching. It's one or the other. The player (s) or the coach.

We go toe to toe with OU, beat Kentucky and then lose to lesser teams. That isn't on the players.

I agree that JJ has done nothing with Simmons but the players have struggles around Simmons too. Blakeney played bad during the stretched where we did not have Hornsby and Victor. The role players played bad basketball when we played in Brooklyn and when we played College of Charleston. Thats not on JJ.

We lost to lesser teams with Hornsby and Victor..Hard to win games when you dont have all of your key players. LSU has played how we expected them to play since Hornsby and Victor have came back. I think we should just wait and see how they finish the season and then have this debate at the end.

I agree. They look unprepared.

If the players aren't ready to play, who is responsible for getting them ready?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I know sometimes kids just don't feel like playing and all that stuff but with that being said, it ultimately comes down to the coach or at least his staff.

Hornsby's injury is not on JJ. To me, it says that Hornsby was doing everything he could to win. A desire to win. To make the game close at least.

I don't see that, often, in some of the other players. That isn't a knock on them, that's on the coaching staff.
