Dude this is awesome! I think we knowledgeable fans need to make it a point to school up the tards that Hey Fighting Tigers is not the fight song...that it is in fact "Fight for LSU"!

LSU has several "fight" songs:

"Fight for LSU" (the "Official" Fight Song);
"Hey, Fighting Tigers" (the Band refers to it simply as, "Hey");
"Touchdown" (same tune that is played after "Pregame");
"Pregame" is also referred to as, "Hold That Tiger", and of course is famous for the first four notes - rallying cry played by the Band before the game; and
"Tiger Rag" - which one can hear the "Pregame" four notes after the trombones play the tiger roar. This is what is played after touchdowns are scored.

Just setting the record straight.

The others are school songs. Fight for LSU is the official fight song.

Just setting the record straight.

Just like Down the Field is the official fight song for Tennessee. Rocky top is merely a school song. I really wish they played Down the Field more, I kinda like it.
