I'm not really getting all the Bianco love on this board right now.
One trip to Omaha in 16 years at Ole Miss. ONE TRIP. Is that really a significant upgrade over what we have now? Hell, Mainieri had one trip to the CWS in FIVE years at ND when we hired him.

But the point is....if you think Paul has underachieved with teams that you think should have gone further, Bianco has been the poster child for this. How many regionals and super regionals has he lost at HOME when they were "supposed" to win?

People want Mainieri gone but the only candidates they continue to bring to the table is Dean and Cannizaro. What success do they have as head coaches in comparison? 
If the OP is asking about Dean as the hitting coach I would be open to the idea.

I don't want Micah Gibbs as the hitting coach, and I don't want Blake Dean as the head coach. LSU needs to act like the fricking juggernaut it is and get a top coach. Not just some guy whose only qualification for this job is "played at the school."

If you're going to make a move, you open up the checkbook and woo Schlossnagel big time. Make him give you a hard and firm "NO".
