Black Swans, Turkeys, and LSU football

So many chicken littles on this board or should I say "turkeys"...
In short:
Some have fallen into the trap of thinking past performance will dictate future results. You sirs are turkeys waiting to get their head chopped off. Many other turkeys in our fanbase and administration realize the threat (some consider acute , some insidious) and are now acting accordingly.
If you cannot critically assess that last few seasons with scrutiny, then you do not have a properly functioning occipital lobe or cortex (perhaps an overcompensating limbic system). However, this should not be about emotion or historical wins /losses. This is a business decision based on a poor/declining product. Plain and simple. Tough decisions need to and will be made. I will gladly stick my neck out for CHANGE. We as a program should aspire to be GREAT, not fear the Boogieman that is potentially being irrelevant.

A Black Swan is an event or occurrence — a tail event, as Taleb would call it — that is so remote that it is completely unforeseen. (In fairness, SocGen doesn't call these "potential Black Swans," simply calling this their "Swan Chart," but the "potential" phrase gets thrown around a lot, and a chart with pictures of black swans makes pretty clear what the firm is intimating.) The famous example Taleb uses in his book is the Thanksgiving turkey. "Consider a turkey that is fed every day," Taleb writes. "Every single feeding will firm up the bird's belief that it is the general rule of life to be fed every day by friendly members of the human race 'looking out for its best interests,' as a politician would say. "On the afternoon of the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, something unexpected will happen to the turkey. It will incur a revision of belief."

This pretty much sums up how I feel. It's time for something fresh and new for LSU football. It has gotten old and stale and uninteresting.

Did not feel like retyping the above.
LSU will be fine, but the sky will continue to fall for those people with the mindset that we are on the road to becoming irrelevant (quite the opposite IMO).
I know .....
TL/DR
