BIGGEST concern from yesterday..

Yes, there were a million things to complain about yesterday, But my biggest concern was that the players did not seem motivated at all. Did not show any fire, excitement, whatever you want to call it. It wasn't there.
And who does that reflect? Miles. That's his demeanor all the way.
I get all the other things we have going wrong, but it seemed like a mix of dissappointmemt in each other and deer in headlights demeanor from the players. Completely lackadaisical demeanor.
Not promoting firing miles, not bashing the players, but this was seen all game. Hope to see some emotion next game if nothing else.

The players have quit on their coach. I said this yesterday and before. It's fairly obvious and pretty telling. Right or wrong, it's what has happened and there's unfortunately one solution. I was for keeping Miles one more year too.

Not just the coach IMHO. But also the look on fournettes face when Harris continuously makes a bad 5 yard pass. Harris isn't thinking, he's simply running a play likes it practice. Has one velocity, all or nothing.

Zero touch on his passes, zero!

I have the impression the players wish the season was over and they didn't have to take the filed again this year.
It's a combination of disappointment, apathy, resignation, anger and even fear.

I disagree. I was there and during the media timeout before we got the fumble on their kick return, the players were fired up like you wouldn't believe. Jamal Adams was leading them.

I think LSU put way too much into the Bama game. Miles bringing in Steele (a failure as a cood at his other stops) with the idea that it will help him get over the Bama hump. LSU was all or nothing that game. When Bama whooped their arse, the season was over.

We have lost our best coaches over time and not replaced them with the same or better quality. I watched all the coaches on the sideline yesterday and there is no one there firing up the team - no one.

Players were fired up when we pulled within a touchdown or so. I remember seeing them jumping around and I felt that for the first time in a long time that they believed they could get back into the game and then Ole Miss answered and scored the next possession and that was over.

There were glimpses of how good this team could be, but then another penalty on offense or missed tackle on defense.

Jamal Adams was the only one showing me something as far as emotion. But when I see fournette giving Harris the death stare after every other play, I see more lack of faith than anything.

It's their way of showing him the door.
