If you think that having to play so many freshmen and sophomores is a reflection of a coaching staff in it's first year you know nothing about football...

I watched LSU be dominated by a stronger line from Troy on both sides of the ball.....We have the same strength coach we have always had....Being pushed all over the field...no coaching in the world can fix that...
It's personnel...We need recruits and JUCO's

We don't have the guys we need yet.

...Yep if we do not get them then this staff has to go like any other but until we get some guys in here, wake up.....

This program has been on the slide for the last 4 years... They did not fire Les because of social media........

The fans act like we are a top 10 program...NOt in the last four years....Music City Bowl, Capitol One and other weak arse bowls????

I don't care if Saban was here he could not stop our thin roster from being pushed off the ball....
x' and O's my arse....better realize it's the jimmy's and the joe's....

Does any one know about the 15 players possibly suspended before this game!
This could explain our depth issues to some degree at least. Maybe coach O trying to do the right thing, set a precedence for now and future. IDK

Ok I'll bite, where do we get these 2-3* athletes that push around our 4-5* athletes consistently like these last 3 games?

"I didn't know our 3rd string RB would get the ball first" - Head Coach Ed Orgeron

It may be the Jimmys and Joes, but we have a retard running the X's and O's as well.

Lethal combination

Experience IS a factor. Very hard to play anywhere, especially the SEC, as a true freshman. We are seeing why now.

I agree! Is Coach O really to blame here? It's fricking Lester Miles that started this slide with the lack of recruiting offensive and defensive lineman. Coach O is one, one recruiting class in and playing some 20+ of those true freshmen.

Correct scheming and calls can negate bad play on the lines. It's coaching as well

But the facts don't support your statement. We are ranked 6th in the past 5 years, and have been in the top 15 3 out of the last 4 years.

Is your dumbass aware of the attrition that has plagued the program in the offseason. That's not Les' fault

Doesn't coach o deserve some of the blame for our personnel deficiencies? He was our recruiting coordinator and d line coach since 2015. Why are we so thin on the lines?

You should check who's starting before you blame youth. Also, who was the DL coach and then recruiting coordinator? See these easy excuses work great if the guy that got the job hadn't been part of the program at a high level for a while. To me if these were going to be issues then temper the expectations during the offseason. "hey we're going to work like hell to get these guys ready but we have some major holes". Didnt have to be that exactly but there was NEVER any discussion of this in the offseason by the staff that I recall. However, lets assume you're correct. How the freak do you lose to Troy and barely beat Cuse?

Yeah there are multiple factors such as a young team and injuries, but coaching is THE greatest problem right now. The team is very soft, and is getting pushed around by rent-a-win teams. No good excuses for that.

Here is the problem. We have only played 1 SEC game thus far vs a team that isnt top tier. We arent feelin the effects of some brutal schedule. Its Troy, Syracuse, and hell Mississippi State. Look at the recruiting classes and compare to LSU over the last 3 years. Now rethink your theory

And he addressed the DL and linebackers very well in 16 and 17. He was here 1 month before nsd in 15.

See...this excuse can play if we get pushed around by State, or AU or Florida...or frick, anyone in the SEC. It does NOT fly when we get pushed around and completely out played by a fricking Sun Belt team.

Christ...I know many of you hate Miles, but are you seriously trying to suggest that he's lucky to have been fired because if not, HE'D be riding this shitstorm of a season right now? That it's just a bad coincidence that Ed Oregron stepped into a completely bare cupboard...a cupboard that's been stocked well enough for 17 season to never lose to the liked of a program like Troy? C'mon...

See...the problem here is you guys REALLY should have waited for this excuse until we got into the heart of SEC play. It holds no water against the likes of Syracuse or Troy. Because, you may ask? Because if LSU suddenly, with this same team, plays a bit better and doesn't get their shite pushed in by an SEC team, the excuse will be seen for what it is. Or will the new narrative be that the Mighty O coached dem boys up and got them to play above their heads?

Umm I believe even T Bob admitted that it's leadership issues and he's having a hard time supporting the hire. That's bad when he admits this because he is really close to O personally.
