Sam was a terrific Tiger. He is one of the best DE's we've ever had. The hustle and grit this guy showed on every play was impressive to watch. Gave it his all and kept his mouth shut. His efforts should not be forgotten.

Appreciate Ya Big Fella

Pretty sure he is saying that Sam was a "team guy" and not in it for himself. Never had those interviews where you wish he had bronchitis and stayed home that day. Don't be that guy, bro.

After it all, this is the most important thing. Thanks, Sonic Sam, for all the time and effort you spent while wearing purple and gold.

I'm gonna miss watching his fearless play and reading about his eccentric personality. He seems like one of those guys who is impossible to not like.

He could have been. And I would say a year ago that I thought he could be. But no way would I agree with you and say he is one of the best we've ever had. Only played 2 full seasons, only had 1 great season.

But yes, Thank you Sam you will always be remembered!

Can I play Devil's advocate and ask who you thought was better?

I'll admit that he didn't put up monster stats this year. However he is most certainly one of the best I have seen.
