Just like someone mentioned ... the playbook is huge ... you aren't going to memorize the whole damn playbook ... when you hear of installing a offensive game plan prior to a game you are going through the plays you plan to use during the year/game and that's how you get the plays down ... if there is a problem its because the Qb isn't taking the time to get prepared ... there is a lot mentally to take in

Oh, well in that case........

So I guess Harris was just improvising all those plays in the Spring Game? He doesn't need to know the entire playbook. That thing has probably over 1000 plays/options/etc.

AJ runs five plays and we can't even get Harris to get that much down.

AJ runs 20 different plays in every game. How can you say something so wrong?

So reliable you are afraid to name him either because you're full of shite or because you're afraid he isn't really reliable and naming him wouldn't advance your narrative or agenda.

Well apparently he's never gonna learn the playbook

a college student, and he still by this time can't learn the playbook. then the NCAA should look at his grades to see if he is still eligible to stay in school, much less play on the football team.

The playbook is so big but it sure seems like we've got 4 plays. Maybe we'll have a competent QB to execute these 1000s of plays

I would much rather Harris run 20 plays well than Jennings run 50 plays poorly

The passing plays have a less than 50% success rate, who cares how many plays he runs?

If you think we only run 5 plays, you are an idiot.

Hell we will run the ball 5 diff ways on one drive.

At some point the coaches need to tailor the game plan and playcalling to their best QB's strengths, not keep trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. What's the point of having some elaborate pro-style offense when it takes your QB 3 years to "master it"? Auburn runs like 10 offensive plays but masters them. They seem to do just fine on offense every year. It's also why a moron like Cam Newton can go there from Juco and master the system in one offseason then win a heisman and national title. It's time to simplify this shite. With the talent in place now, it's time to stop trying to play chess and start playing some goddam checkers.

He has 11 weeks to finish learning it. You can even say 12 weeks because fournette will rush for 400 yards against mcneese so he won't even need to throw.

You're making the mistake of assuming OP has credible information. His "source" is more than likely his imaginary friend, being in that still hasn't provided a name or any other information to support the claim.
