Shitty timing, but I'll be coming back into the country on an international flight during the opening game. I figure it should be pretty easy to stay offline and know nothing about the game until I'm home and ready to watch it. Will the replay be available instantly on Watch ESPN or somewhere else so I can see it that night?

Yeah. Typically WatchESPN is updated as soon as the games end.

Unless you are the pilot and can't get out of it...why on earth would you schedule the flight at that time?

No DVR, I'm a cord cutter. All of my TV is streamed.

Are you already abroad? Do you have DVR capability at home? If already abroad there are ways to set your DVR online, at least with AT&T Uverse. That's what I have. No idea how to set it online though, as I've never needed to. I'm sure you can find out how on the website.

If you're already abroad and don't have DVR capability, I'm not sure the best answer.

This is about the number one type of scenario in which DVR is basically a must-have.

In case any other DVR-less people run into this problem at some point, this is straight from the WatchESPN FAQ:

quote:

Will replays still be available on ESPN3?
Yes, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews and ESPN Deportes replays will continue to be made available on ESPN3. Replays will be accessible as early as immediately after the conclusion of the event and no later than 2:30 a.m. ET that evening.
