They just opened two new ones near campus within about 3 weeks. A third will open later after the season. It was in the Tupelo,Ms sports section in the paper. I don't know the names, sorry, but they were chains. So I guess you can get it on the internet. If everything is full, stay 53 miles over in Tupelo. We have all the chains in the book up by the mall. A lot of restaurants too.

Tupelo is a nice town, I was there last year the same weekend Auburn played Ole Miss and State hosted Arkansas. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and it was truly bizarre watching fans from four SEC schools file in through the lobby beginning pretty late in the evening.

It still took six Episcopalians from Louisiana to close down the bar.

Stay home. Don't go. I will never go back.

Write down the date and time that you read this, so after the game you will find it and remind yourself to never ignore good advice again.

Next to Little Rock (thank God that's over for now), I rank it last.

A&M, SC, Tuscaloosa, State are each better.

The Grove is a place I will never understand how it gets its reputation. If we all threw 2/3 of our tailgaters into the Quad, we'd get the same overrated reputation.

Ole Miss fans, each time I go, have never extended any hospitality to me or my group -- most of my group is older men and women. When they hate LSU, it is on the same level of UT and Bama or A&M and Texas. There is no "brethren of the SEC" respect ala Auburn/Georgia. It's pure Napoleon syndrome hatred.

The traffic jam getting out of that place is misery. Yeah, so is everywhere...but this place is one way in-out style. In '07, we left the stadium/grounds at 6 and were out of Oxford around 8:30.

The stadium experience sucks. They stick all LSU fans in the corner and the high schooleque endzone and trying to move to a different locale just for a few minutes to soak up a little environment? Nada. You think the grandpa marshals at LSU are bitter and mean? I've never been able to experience a down of football in Oxford anywhere other than the corner...and I have been 5 times.

I will give you this...THIS is going to be a game similar to 2009. Both teams will be good. It won't be '03, but it could certainly get that way. Otherwise, go to Columbia and/or Tuscaloosa.

I've been everywhere besides Fayetteville , Columbia and Lexington.
Numerous times.

Alabama, Athens and Oxford are the best three by far.
Knoxville is cool too.

State sucks
Tex am sucks
Gainesville sucks
Little rock sucks
Auburn sucks

I have a place in Grenada right now, but I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on Memphis.

Do yall think Memphis is too far away? I feel like it depends on if the game is a day or night game

Just one guys opinion here, I've always had a good time in Oxford. Never went while I was in school, every time has been post college.
