this went an entirely different direction then i had planned on. i was expecting a bunch of tl:dr and flaming. it actually went the way i hoped it did with people sharing their experiences. i can safely say i underestimated the rant.

Add: TM7 caused fumble and return against Oregon.

Reid's interception was play of the year in college football IMO.

The highlight of the year for me was overtime against the Gumps. We celebrated when (we thought) Michael Ford scored, and we celebrated for sure when Drew Alleman kicked the field goal.

1. Reid's interception in the Bama game.
2. Wing's swagger at the end zone.
3. All Honey Badger's extraordinary play makings.

Definitely the Brad Wing TD (or called back TD) against FL, that play just put the whole season into perspective, how fun and unbelievable it's been. The jubilation of the crowd, the team, everyone, I knew after that play this year was special.

That was also one hell of a moment. I remember being breathless and actually having to sit down cause my adrenaline was pumping so hard and I was jumping around so much that I was wearing myself out

Everything about bama weekend was just perfect. I had a hell
Of a time tailgating, it was hands down one of the best atmospheres I've been around. We got incredibly rowdy and took over the town that night

It started with that great beat down of the ducks and then reading all their sad posts of how they "gave" us the game.
The ruthless destruction of auburn...
The Ford run in OT when I knew we were going to beat Bama.
The crushing of the piggies hopes and dreams when so many of them thought we wouldn't be able to stop their offense. Then the classless and wussy behavior of their coach when he had an issue with the way we ended the game.
Shutting up all the GA fans after we totally wore them out...
But my favorite moment will be when we beat little Nicky and Bama a second time to win another 'ship...

why would you pick a play where a boneheaded act resulted in a touchdown being taken off the scoreboard?

Very good post! Any plans for the band to roll down Bourbon Street/Quarter again?

Here are mine.

1. Ford turning the corner in OT during the game with the gumps.

2. Reid's INT on the goal line

3. Watching LSU rush the field after the winning field goal against the gumps.

Generally, I have enjoyed watching Miles this season. He has handled the adversity and expectations so very well. Miles so loves his players and this.

The next was during the Auburn game. That span of about 10 minutes when the team was playing on a level I've only seen in video games. Every tackle was a sportscenter hit and offensive play felt like a huge gain. If there was ever a time that a team could play perfectly in every sense of the game, that was it.

This. I've never seen a team get a lead like that, then want to just beat the absolute snot out of an opponent. I knew before that we were good, but that's when, without an ounce of doubt, I KNEW this team would go down as one of the very best I'll see play. There's no other way to describe it other than just absolute swagger. They love to play the game, and I love to watch them play it!

They literally have told us nothing about what the plans are for the bowl game. The unconfirmed rumors (COMPLETELY UNCONFIRMED) are that we are meeting in baton rouge to practice on the 6th, headed to NOLA on the 7th, and we are staying at the Hilton Riverside. Also that our itinerary will somehow be affected by the saints game if there is one that weekend...im guessing for rehearsal time.

My best moment of the year was the LSU/Bama game, it was my daughter's birthday (both of us are graduates of LSU) and my wife and I just moved to Columbus, MS. My daughter came over to MS for the game and she and I drove over to tailgate that afternoon with intent that we would come home as we did not think we could get tickets. We found some and went to the game. It was the best present I have ever given her.
