Although I don't agree with it, I have no problem with someone viewing Ole Miss as #1 i this regard. But you're talking two different vibes altogether. Candelabra vs. cochon de lait. Very hard to compare.

Do you know the fundamental difference betwee two tailgating cultures? Ole Miss's is feminine. The Rebel tailgate spreads are designed, provisioned, and largely controlled by women. LSU's tailgating is largely driven by men resulting in a scene that is quintessentially male, in cuisine, scale, and ambiance.

They're the best dressed and they're number one? Shows you how this culture has changed and the flashy, trendy thing is considered the best.

I can agree with this. It's really comparing apples to oranges. They're two completely different cultures. Both very unique and a lot of fun!

The Grove according to these guys:

Been many places to watch our boys battle.
The Grove is a spectacle (for women that is), but...
NOTHING compares to a day in the Valley with all our DIE HARD fan base. Bunch of red necks (including me), partying all damn day in Purple & Gold. Of course this is a bias opinion.

I have had a blast at Ole Miss tailgates. Still prefer the Tiger-style tailgating, but I also like that different schools and regions still have differences.

The Grove is 10 acres. That's cute just like their little stadium

No cooking on the Grove? The smells of the food cooking along with the bourbon in the air makes tail gating special

Any list that has Texas in the top 10 is BS. Everybody tailgates in parking lots or in state parking garages. There is no real tailgating on campus.
