If we had beaten Alabama, we wouldn't have been playing Clemson. We would have won the SEC West and gone to a better bowl, either BCSNCG or at least a top tier non-BCS bowl depending out the outcome of the SECCG. I think it's very possible that Georgia would have beaten us in the SECCG, though.

These players either redshirted or hardly played at all and
Kyle williams and Andrew whitworth were not on this team. Still a great season and at the end of the year we could've beat anyone.

One of the best games I've ever attended. It had a great combo atmosphere and meaning. Plus it was LSU's playing for it's first trip to the SECCG after all those rough years.
