Finally, and at long last, I can say that I finally have gotten a "one up" on some of my fellow posters on TD.com. . . At church in Duluth, Georgia this morning, one of our members came up to me after sevices and said, "Marc, your boy from LSU is here today. You need to go over and introduce yourself!" I looked over, and he was pointing to Ben Wilkerson and his wife, Angie with their new daughter.

I subsequently had the pleasure of meeting Ben, his wife, and their newborn daughter this morning. Yet again, I have been impressed with the humility that becomes every LSU player I have ever met.

This morning's introductions have made the rest of the day's Superbowl festivities pale in comparison. I may even have to start pulling for the Falcons now.

Glad to see Wilkerson stick with the Falcons and have a chance at a pro career after his misfortune on the last play of that Vandy game. Saban should never have had Ben in the game at that point.

+1.

I do appreciate NS for waking up the sleeping Tiger but he was definitely wrong on leaving Matt M. in the Florida game and ruined our season that year (2005???).

I personally believe NS ruined Ben Wilkerson's career in the NFL also by not taking him out.

NS wasn't manly enough to admit it was his mistakes and moved on. Instead, he BS around and refused to admit that he was wrong.

jesus. Saban wasn't even here in 2005 and it was Vanderbilt. Turn in your fan card.

Ben is a great guy, I played against him in HS and had a couple of classes with him at LSU.
