Its not some type of hype when it's actually being done on a court.

At the SEC teleconference JJ said Ben is 6'10 240 pounds now.

That's basically LeBron size when he went to the NBA.

That's 2 inches taller than lebron.

LeBron is ACTUALLY at least a real (measured) 6'8. The chances Ben is a real 6'10 is pretty much none. He's probably in the 6'8-6'9 range.

That's all well and good, but I'll wait till official measurements happen, any picture can look one way or another. I definitely think Ben is taller than LeBron who is about 6'8 or so, but 2" taller is quite a bit. Every single person we have o the basketball roster has pretty much never measured up without shoes to their listed height.

Lol, whatever you say.
He officially measured in at 6'10 239lbs at the Nike Hoop Summit in April.

I hope not, because their official measurements are in shoes.

Nobody's listed height equals their height without shoes. According to Draft Express, LeBron measured in at 6'7.25" without shoes, 6'8" with shoes. I think measurements should be done barefoot, but Simmons' 6'10" height is about as legit as anyone else's.

Until basketball players start playing barefoot, I'm not all that concerned what a guy measures "without shoes". It's not they're getting measured in those goofy strength shoes or those special shoes for kids with one leg significantly shorter than the other

Barefoot just evens all things out. Some guys get up to 2" extra in basketball shoe measurements while others may get a half to 3/4 inch.

Regardless of his true height, we know he has the height and size to play the 4 when we need him

I think he's more like 6'9 and some change. 240 sounds about right from the pics I've seen recently.

Size wise he can definitely play PF.

Yeah he's put on like 15 pounds in the last couple months. the dude works out and takes a lot of supplements from what i gather to get bigger. He's one of the physically best looking prospects out there now too. He was almost skinny as a junior in high school.
