Ben Simmons should stay another year

Say what you want about Ben Simmons, he isn't as much a lock to go Pro next season as you would think.
Now that the NBA moved the declaration day back, deadline now May 25th, he will get a chance to see who the which team will be picking first before making his decision.
Since the 76ers are most likely going to end up with the pick (25% chance as of today)
Ben Simmons is the clear cut #1 pick when he declares for the NBA. Why would he chose to go to Philadelphia? Yes, he signs a big contract, gets declared a prodigy, etc...
But he will be the season after too.
The 76ers Suck! They have sucked for a very long time. Some kids would be happy just to be drafted, however, this isn't just any kid, he is Ben Simmons.
Statistically, the Timberwolves and 76ers are just plain horrible over the past 20 years.
But since the 76ers will most likely be going first, here are a few reasons for BS to stay:
Since the 1991-92 (25 Seasons):
- 18 losing seasons
- 1 Season of 50+ Wins
- 14 Head Coaches
- 4 Seasons w/ 60+ Losses
- 9 Seasons w/ 50+ Losses
- 14 Lottery Picks
- 10 Playoff Appearances (Five 1st Round Exits)
- One Top Five Finish (3rd in NBA in 2001)
- 19 (Bottom 15 Finishes)
Jahlil Okafor wasn't happy but he had no idea if he would be top pick or which team was drafting from which slot since the deadline was much earlier last year.
But the biggest bonus should be the fact that the new NBA TV Contract kicks in in 2017 and it changes the Rookie Contract Scale.
Rookie Scale Comparisons:
2016-17: $18.51 (First 3 Yrs), $8.114 (4th yr), $10.6 (5th yr)
2017-18: $19.15 (First 3 Yrs), $8.395 (4th yr), $10.91 (5th yr) - MAX Salary for Rookies (120%)
That's an estimate, the expected 2017-18 numbers aren't available but are expected to be higher than above.
Should he go? Not to the 76ers. Will he go? 65% he goes 35% he stays

when youre about to get paid... being good is merely an after thought.
Why risk injury so he can get with a less sucky team

He will go and be the number 1 overall pick and make a shitzillion dollars and never have to worry about money again.

playing with the 76's and getting paid millions>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> playing for free with this joke of a head coach

I think the money outweighs any consideration of which team might draft him.
Why do your job for free and have to go to class when you can make millions?
I don't pretend to know Ben Simmons or his thought process, but I really would be shocked if he was still in school next year.
ETA: Plus he can go wherever he wants after his rookie deal. Waiting to enter the draft is delaying the process. It also cuts down on the number of paydays he can cash in on in his career.

Breaking News:
Ben Simmons now only 99.99999999999999999999999999999999874% lock to go to NBA next year on the basis that he might care who is going to pay him a gagillion dollars to play basketball next year.

Yeah, going to the 76'ers would be like coming back to LSU, so he's probably gone....

Dude, he's going to the NBA and it'll be after this season. I'd bet my declining 401k on it.

If Simmons went to the T'wolves, that would be my favorite NBA team.
Towns, Wiggins, and Simmons would be unfair. That teams would win championships.
