I don't have to "believe" in anything. I know, for a fact, that the things you predicted were going to happen, were wrong. And I knew it was wrong when you were saying it.
Why? Because you had to pile on with all the assistants being lined up, very specific timelines following the aTm game - just a lot of tip offs that this was a big troll (NO coaching change ever goes down like that - or that quickly - certainly not one involving this level of hypothetical switch - it takes WAY longer than your "timeline" to do anything like what you suggested - just to get all the little details ironed out - certainly Miles could have been fired after the game, but it would have been weeks before we had a new coach introduced).
I take you at your word - you're not a troll. But you got trolled. And you allowed yourself to be used to troll the board. So, at best, you're a proxy troll.
Good luck with it, buddy, and make sure to bring an adult anytime you go buy a car - otherwise, you could get taken really badly.

I think you were had. In order for Jimbo's deal to be done, Miles had to be fired. He wasn't leaving in his own. To be fired, a recommendation had to go to the Board of Supervisors. It never was. Jimbo couldn't have been a done deal.

This is exactly the problem; and what allot of these posters are failing to realize. Say what you want about the pro-Miles supporters; but when you make a recommendation to the BOS to fire a man, who is very successful, you better have a good reason.
The reason wasn't good enough for the final decision makers. The money didn't make sense to them. Football attendance and interest is at an all-time high.
In the end, it didn't make sense to fire Miles. Whether a deal was on the table with the boosters or not. It wasn't going to happen because the "higher ups" at LSU weren't going to let it happen.
We had a leaked story to the media that expressed some people's displeasure with Miles and ONE person on the BOS's displeasure with Miles; and we all ran with it.
It's really time to give this up. And for those speculating about another Jkmbo hire in the near future; I ask you this:
How long did it take Miles to be reconsidered at Michigan?
