As it all gets started in the SEC West
-Bama
-LSU
-Auburn

what are the odds that it will not be one of these 3 teams in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game

Bama will be Bama

LSU has the most ? marks

Auburn will always be about QB play - if they have that QB that can do what they want him to do - huge problem but Auburn comes to Tiger Town

I hope to see Bama look a little normal on the D-side but I think we all know to beat Bama you have to play out-standing - going to the game and look forward to the War

The Gators for me might be the key game of the year

I expect that BYU will not be able to handle the rushing game that LSU will throw at them

Chattanooga - Win

Cow Bells at MS Bulldogs - might be more of a test

Syracuse - Win

Troy - Win

So if we beat the Bulldogs and we should - the Gator game sets up a Big season or just a nice season #1 season for O

I think it's safe to say any team with a defense is who we should be concerned with... aka Florida and Bama. Auburn, at home, with Aranda having a few weeks to learn strengths/weaknesses of the new guys, they'll be lights out by Auburn... Just a matter of if this offense can score points on a semi-pro defense...

Canada will have 5 weeks of games before the UF game and an additional 2 weeks of games plus the bye for Alabama. This will give him plenty of time and "live" opportunities to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the offense and get a better idea of what plays really work and which one don't.

You can bet that even if the jet sweeps and other outside runs don't work, by that I mean 1-2 yard gain or loss. He will still run them to keep the defense honest.

With a CLM O, defenses would just have to worry about the tackle box. He made their jobs so much easier because CLM wouldn't use much of the field outside of the tackles. Canada will make defenses cover sideline to sideline because he will and can get the ball to anyone at anytime at anywhere on the field on any given play. I really think our O will be fine. MSU will be the first "real" test for the O. I think At first BYU will play tough but we will wear them out and run away late.

Canada also has a massive playbook with tons of different variations of plays and he seems to be creative with how to keep the D on their toes.

We'll be just fine!

I agree with this. I think FL is going to get their butts kicked. Auburn will be tough on offense but not sure about defense yet. Might be a score for score type of game. We are at home so I like our chances plus we have someone named Aranda calling plays to stop that offense. Could possibly be a great year where things just work out for LSU. GT

BYU - LSU pulls away late.

Chattanooga - no worries, drink heavily.

MS State - Stop Fitz, win. In Aranda I trust.

Syracuse - Not as convincing, but see Chatanooga.
Troy - see above.

Florida - a matter of motivation this year. LSU wins close.

Auburn - Not even worried about Stidham. That o will put up some points. More concerned if Aub can replace the two stud d-linemen from last year. Toss up at this point, or slight adv LSU b/c of home field.
Mississippi - they will have given up by this point.

Alabama - bare knuckles....love it. Until LSU wins one, got to give adv to bama. new oc MAY be able to pull off a surprise.

Arkansas - love oc Enos. Just not enough horses to keep up.

Tennessee - Butch will be re-typing his resume by this point instead of game planning.

Texas A&M - Will the streak of incredible LSU rushing yardage in this game ever end...no.

People lose sight of how close LSU was to a fantastic season last year. Wisc / Aub games could have gone either way. bama was 10-0. florida was a fluke. big yardage adv to LSU, but fla made enough plays to win.

Cannot get here soon enough

I don't think some of y'all are giving MSU credit. They are an 8 win team this year. If Fitz has a good game, could be 50/50.

Many teams can say the same thing every year.

For example, last year, Clemson got a gift when the NC State kicker choked on the game-winning kick. If they lose that game, they don't even make the ACC championship game and don't make the playoff.

And with that last second TD against Bama, they win it all. Could've just as easily lost it.

So many teams every year can play the "what if" game. You gotta actually win those close games.

I just don't see Fitz, good as he is, as better than Lamar Jackson. They may be better than I think, but they still don't have enough.

That schedule is pretty easy for them (except SEC-W)...but I only see 4 gimmes. Maybe 5 if BYU is having a down year.

What does this even mean?

Actually Auburn's main strength this season will be the fact that they'll actually be able to run the ball with two good backs. Stidham has talent. But I don't expect Auburn to be throwing the ball 40 or 50 times a game.

You do realize that it's still his first season and not everything will work flawlessly the first time. I mean I get optimism. But some of this sunshine pumping is a bit much.

I realize there will be hick ups along the way and not everything will be perfect. I was simply trying to show optimism and trust in our new OC and team.

We'll go 5-7 and miss a bowl game. Happy now?
