Before the unsportsmanlike penalty...

I have been a coach for years and I can promise you the Turd coaches told their defense to get overly aggressive and try to get that penalty. I just can't believe we fell for it!

It was the definition of off setting PFs if anything.

This. Bama players were literally pushing and shoving after every play, and the officials never even gave a warning. They should have issued one to both teams early on to set the tone....but instead they let them play the entire game like that knowing they were allowing it...then bam.

well it would be stupid for them not to wouldn't it? i mean the worst that can happen to them at that point was a half the distance penalty vs a 15 yarder for us.
