See the posts above yours tensasparishtiger. Answered perfectly, Dietzel to Army and Arnsparger to become AD at Florida. You are correct in that most we had to take upon ourselves to get rid of.

I could be wrong, but Im pretty sure he went straight to Florida and told the Board of Supervisors that they should hire the youngest coach in NCAA up to that time in Mike Archer and turn down STeve Spurrier and Arnsparger goes over to UF and after a few years with GAlen Hall, promptly hires the Ole Ball Coach himself who took pleasure in absolutely whipping our asses for the stupidity of our BOS. Wow, those were the days.

Historically speaking, the LSU HC job has been a good job to keep unless you are seeking to change positions (AD) or your wife finds out your screwing around and there's an opening in Miami.
