what do most of you think is the best way to go?? Pay 100-150 to sit in the uppers on Stub Hub?? Or just find tickets the day of??
I've always gotten solid tickets on game day at TS, just wondering if I can expect the same success in Dallas

thanks for any advice

people here say that you can always get tickets on gameday for a reasonable price...but I have just never had the nerve to drive for a few hours without a ticket in hand...

There are certainly worse towns to be stuck in without tickets for a game.

When I went in '09, half the bars were packed with LSU fans without tickets as I got back from the game.

I have always been able to get tickets at face the day of the game. I think if you are willing to pay 100-120 per you will be able to find a lower bowl ticket to just about any game.

Be a little persistent on Craigslist and you'll find some. I got 2 at $70 each a couple weeks ago

On Gameday you will never have to pay more than face value literally for any game if you are young, approachable, and go into the tailgate areas. There is always an extra family member who is not coming, someone who got sick, etc. The thing is, usually you will be sitting with these people, so they aren't just going to raise their hands up.

I honestly think that as the game gets closer the dallas cowboys season ticket holders who aren't going to the game but are trying to sell for a profit will lower their prices somewhat. If I was going to buy on stubhub I would wait till week of the game. You won't miss out on anything if you wait till week of the game.

I may be wrong, but tcu struggles to fill their stadium. Lsu has already been to Dallas two times, and Dallas cowboy ticket holders got a lot of tickets. I think these will hit the market five to seven days before the game.

Just buy tickets outside of the stadium. Maybe one epic game every few years where you can't find face value tickets outside of stadium.

I bought on Stubhub, and overpaid like a mother....but my wife wanted tickets in hand, and we are going with a few others and wanted the tickets to be together.

If I had 1 or 2(and a non nervous spouse) I would get them day of

Bought 3 together in the Shade (UGA side) on the goal line for A buck and a quarter each last time at UGA.

If both teams are undefeated and top 10 --- expect it to be a fairly tough ticket but you'll be able to get a pair outside --- I'd anticipate paying $150 per ticket for decent seats --- day game on the LSU side uppers --- all SUN and you will die of the heat -- but those tickets may be less money -- for obvious reasons.

Went to the "Game of the Century" 2 years ago in Bama and tickets were being sold at every street corner at that shite hole that is Tuscaloosa.

Not to high jack the thread but has anybody seen the prices for the Aggie game. Ridiculous. I have gotten tickets for free from strangers before but I have a group coming with me and I will just expense them. Half aggie half lsu all oilfield.

Still way overpriced on stubhub

Last year my brother bought all of my tickets and I bought outside the stadium week to week. My total out of pocket for last season was $160 for lower bowl. I paid $100 for Bama and the rest way less than face. Nick Pontiff gave me a ticket to one game and someone else for another.

Just stand outside the north or south endzone or on Victory Hill and you'll find whatever tickets you want.
