just fricking declare that division titles will be decided by division games this season. its fair, it hurts no one and helps no one, its the way it should be anyway.

or is the plan to wait and see how we do against bama a month from now and THEN make a decision about a game a week later. you know, since doing nothing for a week and waiting until the last second worked out so well the last time.

That is what they should do right now, otherwise, LSU should play the Fla game; LSU should let SEC treat them like a second class citizen.

They will ignore it unless and until it must be addressed. That would be only if LSU wins out or Tennessee and UF have the same number of wins...

which is dumb beyond belief.

announce it NOW so everyone gets used to the idea and we all play the heart of our SEC schedule under these terms, the longer they wait the more it will look like theyre deliberately choosing one team over another.

sankey has learned absolutely nothing from last week. if theres even a chance of some clusterfrick, you need to make plans to address it. crossing your fingers is not a fricking plan.

Rescheduling represents certain 'challenges' to the SEC that it would rather ignore if possible. My guess is the game will not be played. This is just another example of the extreme, yes extreme, prejudice against LSU and the bias against all SEC schools not named Alabama or Florida.

The ineptitude of the SEC boggles my mind.

I agree. And total conference win percentage can break a three way tie

It should not be that hard to make a decision.

The SEC Commmissioner's Office appears incapable of making a decision on this.

Sankey lost control of the situation when he didn't force the game to be played. Assuming the game will not be played, he needs to wait as long as it takes. Announcing that the title will be based on div games only NOW changes the competitive nature and importance of all remaining cross conference games. He needs to wait.

This "rule change" doesn't fix the problem if a game is canceled. So why make this rule change?

Come on people. If you didn't know already, you are stupid. The decision to play or not is 100% dependent on if LSU and Alabama will likely have the same number of loses.

Sankey will not do anything that hurts Alabama. How is this not known by everyone that visits this website?

He's not crossing his fingers. He's gonna have Bug Eyes and the officials work overtime to make damn sure the LSU-Florida game won't matter.

Stinkey is betting both LSU and Gaytors lose another game (which is likely)thus making the issue moot. If and when that happens Stinky will announce it won't be played. If both go undefeated he will have to do something but I can't imagine what and I bet he can't either. He's inept. He should have made Fla. set it tentatively for Sunday or Monday but that ship has sailed...or more appropriately it has sunk.

I'm to the point that the commissioner declares the game a scoreless tie, Florida and LSU can zip their up their pants and let's move on. Once we got away from the original weekend it started involving too many moving parts. It's been a strange season, why stretch this out.

Snakey is waiting on a reply from Foley to see what he should do.
