This must be a desperation move of some sort. The guy with arguably the worst plate discipline is leading off. Incredible.

I agree with moving Robertson down, but putting Beau in his spot doesn't make much sense.

I know I'm the biggest Mainieri defender around, but I'll give you my thought on it. Beau is really fiery which this team needs a little bit of. He also handles average pitching very well. That's what they're seeing. I understand the move. It's not traditional, but he's searching for answers. I mean, Kyle Schwarber hits leadoff for my MLB team.

At least he doesn't swing on the first pitch. Can start the game with someone making the pitcher work.

Does anyone else look at that lineup and realize we're just not that talented?


It's taken me a little while to come to terms. Gibbs is an issue, but we're really just not as athletic as your typical elite LSU teams

Looks like Watson isn't even playing. Had a 15 game hitting streak before Tulane
