Basketball Woes

No backside defensive help. No defensive switching. No communication. Poor shot selection. No rebounding. Play purely on talent but no grit. I think Victor will help with some of these issues but Coach Jones needs to run sets through Simmons, press and trap defensively. Young and inexperienced team

This team is flawed. Too many perimeter guys and not enough bangers down low.

I love watching Simmons play, but he is very soft on D. We have no shot blockers down low, and our backside help is nonexistent.

Houston was a better team tonight. These teams were pretty evenly matched. Houston plays in a lot tougher conference than the SEC and they will need to continue to improve to compete in conference. LSU will be fine and will make a lot of noise as the season progresses.

Great... At what point do they start playing d and rebounding. There's no switch to flip and then you just start doing it. That comes during summer and pre season practice
