Why do we play Kentucky and Florida twice in basketball? Do we rotate with other teams every year?

basically the "luck" of the draw. they wanted Simmons to get as many games as they could against the best teams. more TV opportunities.

We have 3 permanent opponents in basketball that we always play twice: Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas A&M. The others will rotate, and we got Kentucky and Florida this year. This is the first year of that, A&M used to be the only one we played twice every year.
