When was the last time this board felt this friendly? Early-mid 2011?

Nooo... There was plenty of negativity then. Got to go back to 2007 I think.

Agree with DocBugbear. Too much negativity in 2011.

This board, and tiger fans in general have been waiting on a decent passing game since mid-2008. And it looks to have "great" potential. Feels good

I wanted to punch the Nega-Tiger who sat behind me in the throat last night. Why even go to a game if you can only pick out every bad part of the game, and never once compliment the team who led a top 20 team from wire to wire? Very fortunate I won't sit in front of him the rest of the season. It's called throwing the ball away and living for another play you ignorant old miserable man.

2011 was horrible because idiots like TIGERLEE actually rooted for us to lose just because his fanboy JLee wasn't playing.

In the SECCG, I sat next to a fan (old fat white man) who was literally pissed when JJ scored a TD near the goal line.

Half the people in my section for the Arkansas game were miserable when JJ led us on two scoring drives right after he threw his first pick of the year in the third quarter.

They screamed for Lee after the pick, booed when JJ came back on the field, and sat arms crossed bitching to each other when he marched us down the field twice to put the game out of reach.

It is truly pathetic when you stop and watch these miserable ignorant morons.

Which "nega-tigers"? The ones who wanted an established OC or the ones who preferred a pro-style QB?

Not that I am wholly in either group, but yes, times are good.

Post-Auburn 2011 may have been the most harmony on the Tiger Rant ever. The team was the best in the country, and I think we all were confident that we would beat Bama. We had 2 solid weeks (bye week) of full support for the team.

After Bama, the qb change was made, and the Rant lost it's unity.

The Rant is practically chipper today. I honestly can't remember it ever this jolly.

You're a Why not say something to the ignorant old miserable man to his face instead of sounding tough on the internet a day later?

Congrats on the win. My voice is completely shot, I was hungover as balls this morning, and played the most painful round of golf of my life haha.

Had a good time and enjoyed most of my interactions with LSU fans at the game. Pulling for y'all to take the SEC this year.

I can't remember the last time this place has been this civil. I'd say '07 because from '08 on forward, it was all sorts of talk of Jefferson, Lee, and Les Miles not being up to our standards with his 10 wins a season. It actually started to have an effect on how much I enjoyed the team and games. This is like a utopian vision of the Rant, and it is glorious.

TCU really impressed me last night. I did know that Patterson is a really great coach but last night really convinced me he's the real deal. Although statistically we showed a convincing edge, the Frogs hung in and, until that punt return and TD to get it to 10 late in the 4th, this one was a grind. Vegas knew what they were talking about with -4 LSU spread. (Oh, I,m glad Fields was suspended for the game).

I thought out secondary played well last night, but even the best secondaries are going to give up yards when a QB has as much time to throw as Mett had. Having Fields would've been huge, but y'alls OL played extremely well. Frustrating for sure, but regardless, it was a fun game. Take away that big 70 yard return and us fumbling that damn first kickoff and it could've gone either way. I was definitely impressed with Mett for sure. If he continues to trend upwards, y'all are going to have a dangerous O to contend with.

I'm seeing all over the facespace people being real negative. Saying how Les Miles is an idiot for the clock issue before halftime and all the runs up the middle yadda yadda yadda.

Some people are just inherently miserable.
